Colour Fastness Tester
Chromometers are used in friction color fastness tests, where the color change in the sample and the staining of the companion fabric are observed when the textile product rubs against another companion fabric.
Samples are rubbed against a dry, undyed cotton companion fabric. The color uptake rate of the companion fabric is determined according to the staining gray scale.
The device is available in both electronically controlled and motorized models, as well as a manual model.
