The device is designed to measure the tensile strength of buttons used on clothing and compatible accessories. The tensile strength of various accessories can be measured using different jaws.

It can measure forces up to 20 kg. Additionally, the breaking distance of the accessory can be measured. It offers 180 mm of range of motion.

The device has a digital display. Analog display models are also available.
