The device measures the durability of gloves and protective materials by applying low-force cuts. The device features a rotating circular blade with a diameter of 45±0.5 mm and a thickness of 3±0.3 mm. The force applied to the fabric by the blade is 5±0.05 N.

The circular rotating blade is mounted on an experimental bench that moves in a variable horizontal direction.

The rotating circular blade moves 50 mm above the test specimen under a pressure of 5N.

The device features a digital counter capable of measuring the number of cycles required to cut the test specimen. A USB computer communication port is included as standard. A computer, printer, and application software are offered as optional extras.
